Curriculum vitae
Dr. Andreas Heck studied medicine at the RWTH Aachen and worked for a semester abroad at the University Hospital in Basel and at the severe burn center in Cologne Merheim under the direction of Prof. Spilker.
Since 2009, he has worked as an assistant and specialist at the University Hospital Bonn under the direction of Prof. Dr. Wirtz, during which time he obtained his specialist title for orthopaedics and trauma surgery, as well as the additional qualification for pediatric orthopaedics.
Since 2016, Dr. Heck has been section head of revision arthroplasty and paediatric orthopaedics in the orthopaedic department at Daun Hospital.
Dr. Andreas Heck has been an expert in minimally invasive arthroplasty since 2018 and will be a partner in the joint practice at the Beta Klinik from January 2023.
His focus at the Beta Klinik is on conservative and surgical joint surgery, minimally invasive endoprosthetics and pediatric orthopaedics.
Dr. Heck has been a true “Bönn’sche Jung” for over forty years and is active in many sports clubs.
He is married to his wife Dr. med. Katherina Heck, also a pediatric orthopaedist. Together they have two children who go to school in Bonn.
